Counting Down & Gearing Up
NCFF is almost here! Classes start Friday afternoon and run all weekend. If you haven’t already, check the class updates page and see what classes are still available. You can register for open classes any time during the weekend.
We have a record number of vendors coming to North Country Fiber Fair. See who’s coming on the vendors page. Be sure to schedule plenty of shopping time to check out all the wonderful goodies.
Raffle tickets are still available and will be all weekend. $5.00 gets you the chance to take home one of these.
Have you recently finished a project and are really proud of it? Bring it to our Finished Projects Competition. Each item can be entered for $3.00. You could win a prize. The Kay Cheever Award of Excellence goes to the non-professional entry judged best of show.
It’s going to be an AWESOME weekend! Come join us!
There’s Still Time!
Although the September 1 deadline is past, you can still register for open classes. Be sure to check the class update page to see if the class you’re interested in has an opening. If it does, send your payment and registration form to the PO Box. If you have any questions or concerns about a class or registration feel free to email us at northcountryfiberfair@yahoo.com.
What Now?
Ever run out of yarn in the middle (or unfortunately close to the end) of a project? Did you find a creative way to complete that project anyhow? Well, now you have the opportunity to show off your genius by bringing that finished project to NCFF!
We will have a display table set up where you can show your finished project. Simply attach a tag with a description of how you solved your yarn shortage problem, and let everyone at the Fiber Fair admire your finishing skills.
The Incredible Growing Raffle!
We will be raffling two (yes, TWO) spinning wheels in September at NCFF. Check out the details here.
Spinning Wheel Questions?
DAVID POTTER will be at NCFF. David is a well-known and respected restorer of spinning wheels in the Twin Cities. He plans to bring some examples of his craft and will be available to answer the questions you may have concerning repairs or restorations.
